The sun rises over Danyang’s Dodam Sambong Rocks.
a night at the museum- desperately trying to cram of much of Seoul into my last few weeks, I crossed the Han one Wednesday after work for a late-night session at the National Museum of Korea. With artefacts ranging from prehistory to the Joseon period, the Museum certainly covers a lot of ground (figuratively and literally.. ㅋㅋㅋ), and certainly more than my brain could absorb in one evening.
Before heading home, I joined the crowds of cyclists and lovebirds by the Banpo Bridge to watch the bridge’s famed rainbow water display. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. Jet streams that occasionally move slowly up and down to Mariah Carey and Celine Dion (yes, my heart will go on *cringe*) - not exactly my first choice for a night out!
Busan’s Samgwangsa Temple might put on Korea’s most spectacular lotus lantern display.
